Leigh Staunton is Mindful Employer Project Co-ordinator at Leeds Mind Committee and a member of This is Me Yorkshire. 

In this episode she talks about the her role within Leeds Mindful Employer Network, the Mindful Employer Charter and how companies and businesses can affiliate themselves with the local and national Mindful Employer Networks to work towards better mental health in the workplace. 

Leigh also speaks about the experiences she has had with working alongside Leeds Autism Services and the recent award Leeds Autism Services have won (Mindful Employer of the Quarter).

The Leeds Mindful Employer Network is part of Leeds Mind and brings local employers together to champion positive mental health at work. 

It is commissioned by Leeds City Council (Public Health) and led by Leeds Mind in partnership with local employers.

If you are an employer in the Leeds area, the network is free to join, providing support to organisations who want to develop a mentally healthy workforce.
