In this episode Craig is joined by Susan McDonagh, parent of Joseph, and member of the AutistiCon steering group.

Susan talks openly and honestly about being a parent, advocate and campaigner for better understanding of autism.

She shares her journey through ups and downs, and the struggles and obstacles she has faced over the last three decades as a parent, and how this has shaped her relationship with her son.

Susan also talks about her own strategies and coping mechanisms that have helped her and her understanding, and how her communication tools have evolved and adapted.
